Elizabeth is author of Have Work Will Travel, public speaker, voice talent, executive recruiter and traveler. But her life has not always been so free-spirited. She began her adult life as a college student and mother of two. When one of her children was diagnosed with severe brain damage, her life took a new direction. She worked full time with her daughter's medical needs and on disability advocacy, and gradually phased in her own career in banking. The stresses of those years brought on a severe case of lupus in Elizabeth. Shortly after that her daughter died at age of eight.
She has written about the challenges of those years, and how she dug herself out from under them. As she healed her body and spirit, she also creatively carved a new life, more true to her ideals. She shares how she conquered her biggest demons, and how she hurdled the day-to-day issues of carving a "have work will travel life."
