Extremeline Productions LLC produces progressive outdoor recreation topo maps, mountain bike guide books, and adventure-related media. Dave grew up exploring the forests in Santa Cruz. In 1983, he started mountain biking the Forest of Nisene Marks and other Santa Cruz areas. In addition to biking, he loves whitewater kayaking, kitesurfing, snowboarding, and basically anything outdoors. After attending Soquel High School, Dave graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz. Allison learned to mountain bike in Santa Cruz and has been passionate about the sport ever since. When not riding, she loves playing beach volleyball, kiteboarding, and adventuring around with husband Dave. She graduated from Harbor High School and University of California Santa Barbara. Dave and Allison love mountain biking anywhere there is great singletrack, taking photographs, making maps, and hanging outside in nature. They wrote this book to share their passion!
