As a Boy Scout, Justin learned to carve golf balls. A couple of years and several hundred golf balls later he published his first book; The Carving Range-A Guide to Carve Golf Balls. Soon he became the self-proclaimed Worlds Expert in Golf Ball Carving. Although he thought it was a fun project, he decided the sensible thing to do was climb the corporate ladder so he traded his writing and carving tools for a suit and tie. Sixteen years later, he was scribbling some mental notes in a journal at a restaurant when a waitress asked if he was an author. To his surprise and hers, he said; “Yes!” It was his first public declaration of what would soon become his new reality. Little did he know that a few short months later he would be without a job and had to find a new star to follow. Justin wrestled to know what to do with his life; ultimately selling a home, leaving friends and crossing the proverbial and literal desert to a new state were all part of the journey of discovery. He believes that In Search of the Wise Men and upcoming God is a Maker are gifts from heaven to help inspire a belief in God and the entrepreneurial spirit that built America. Justin now spends his mornings as a day trader and his afternoon’s as The Wise Men Maker; writing and encouraging people to follow their star. His evenings are spent carving golf balls and reading the classics to his amazing wife and four children.
