About the Author:

Thomas Firth is an avid outdoorsman whose sense of humor and view of the world is framed by a set of mule ears. From his earliest recollections of camping with his father and grandfather in the rugged Sierra Nevada Mountains, to his current association with the Back Country Horsemen of California, Tom has carried on his love affair with the outdoors. The self-described mule-annoyer is a National Outdoor Leadership School, Leave No Trace Master Stock Trainer and A BCHC Gentle Use Educator as well as a volunteer packer for the U.S. Forest Service in the San Jacinto District.
