Rob Christopher was born in Denver, Colorado and mostly grew up in the suburbs. Eventually he moved to Chicago for college, which induced approximately six months of severe culture shock. He worked on several films, including the student Academy Award-nominated "120 over 60," directed by Dylan Lorenz, for which he served as editorial consultant. He told Dylan to change around the order of a few scenes. And he wrote and directed the as-yet unfinished feature film "Pause of the Clock." He began publishing his writing around this time, and his work has appeared in A Great Read, Still, The Church-Wellesley Review and Plug among other places. Upon graduating college Rob became a barista at Intelligentsia Coffee & Tea, where he slaved over a hot espresso bar for almost five years. In 1999 he moved to L.A. for six months and was co-editor and associate producer for Tchvadar Gueorguiev's documentary "Kosher Messiah." Currently he is poetry editor for the literary magazine bowwow and lives in Chicago.Review:

" ... addictive. Eat one slice of (what appears to be) his life, and you'll want another. Unpretentious, charming, wholly believable ... " -- David David Katzman, author of "Death by Zamboni"
