She has been a guest columnist and contributing writer for the Michigan Chronicle. Ms. McClain has written feature stories published by The University of Michigan-Dearborn in the university's Lyceum.
Ms McClain holds a Bachelor of General Studies: Communications, English, and Art history degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and an Associates of Arts in Accounting from Wayne County community College.
