Billie Rutledge Bierer: Born in Galveston, Texas grew up in Pennsylvania north of Pittsburgh, and moved with her parents to Arizona in the 60's. Being a flower child was out for her. She immediately fell in love with the West and became a cowgirl.Eventually, she married her husband of thirty-six years and they raised three children. Now, the grandmother of six, she has settled in South Carolina where she and her husband raise Arabian horses and beef cattle. In her spare time, she is at work on her next novel.
