This book presents a deep theory of civilizations. It explores early civilizations in Sumeria, Anatolia and Peru as well as African civilizations; and civilizations after 3,000 BC to show that the theory closely agrees with the history of known civilizations and long-lived societies. In the Peruvian case it suggests that there are two "strings" of consecutive civilizations emanating from Caral - the "mother" civilization. They culminate in a unified Inca civilization after 4,000 years.
