9780974886886: 15 Realistic Tests for the SAT Math Level 1 Subject Test (formerly known as Math Level 1C)

This book is the extended and revised second edition of our book "10 Realistic SAT II Math IC Test Booklets". Previously we had givem the solutions on the internet; now we have also published the solutions. SAT Math Level 1 Subject Test was previously known as the SAT II Math IC test. This book is specifically designed to provide an SAT bound student with a good practice on SAT Math Level 1 Subject Test (formerly known as SAT 2 Math Level 1C). The latest trends have been observed to come up with accuracy. We have however been careful to make our tests slightly harder than the actual test. Other than that each of our 15 tests are very close to what a student may encounter on the test day. This book contains 15 full length model practice tests that simulate the SAT Math Level 1 subject test. Each test is up to date and true to life reflecting the latest question types. The tests come with answers and solutions along with two additional chapters, one on the description of the real test and the other on the most effective graphing calculator techniques to make a student’s life easier on the real test. The model tests have been produced in a course of 5 years by a perfect scorer team; therefore they are very useful for diagnosing weaknesses and getting more questions right; therefore this book promises a higher score for the ones who use it.

About the Author:

Rusen Meylani is the co – founder of RUSH Publications and Educational Consultancy, LLC. Born on the 2nd of August, 1972 he shows all the leadership characteristics of a Leo. He was awarded many times in mathematics since the age of 14 and he holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering having written tens of papers in this field. When he was a graduate student (between 1995 and 1997), he invented three methods that are currently being used with sophisticated printing devices, the last generation white goods, and, the state of the art quality control systems. He worked in the field of Information Technology where he was the leader of a team that built the wide area network of a major supermarket chain in Europe. In 1998 he decided to build a career in education listening to the sound of his heart and that was it. He created a method that shortens 40 hours of mathematics to 4 hours gaining the attraction of Eisenhower National Clearinghouse funded by the US Department of Education. In 2004 and 2005 he gave several conferences in the United States on this particular method. In the mean time he published three SAT II Mathematics books that became bestselling among their peers in Amazon just in a few months. He has 15 other books that will have all been published by mid 2007. He is a researcher, educator and academician having taught at several distinguished institutions at the K9 – 12, undergraduate and graduate levels, all in Europe. He has dedicated his life to creating easy to teach and easy to learn methods in mathematics. He considers himself as a "gifted loony" as he claims that one day it will be possible to shorten the learning time to less than one tenth of the usual. When people ask him about how it will be done, he borrows Albert Einstein’s words: "If at first the idea is not absurd then there is no hope for it." However, he is not an "all work, no play" type of person. He is a guitar player, poet and story writer being awarded several times in the United States for his poems. He is also a great movie watcher. He is happily married to the sweetest genius lady who is crazy enough to marry him. The couple has created their own language which is the funniest way of communication that has ever existed in the world. Rusen Meylani’s motto is somewhat similar to Robert Kennedy’s: "Some men see things as they are and say ‘Why?’ I see the things that never were and say ‘Why not!’ "
