About the Author

A celibate priest for fourteen years, Anthony P. Kowalski labored as assistant pastor, teacher and seminary rector, while helping to organize a senate of priests and a national federation of priests councils (NFPC). Then as married Catholic layman for twenty-nine years, he worked in educational and social service agencies, while organizing married priests locally and serving on the first national board of the association for a married priesthood (CORPUS). In Married Catholic Priests he narrates respectfully and objectively the story of Roman Catholic priests in America who have married.
