I don't know about you, but I'm a story junkie. Long, short, high-brow, pulp, you name it. I love it all. I'll cheerfully read Stephen King followed by Eudora Welty topped off with a light dose of Ray Bradbury. I love it all. Stories are my smack. All I ever ask is that the writer find the vein. I hope I've done that with these stories. I hope they find your soft spots and slip into your bloodstream. I hope they scare you, piss you off, make you laugh, or make you think, as the case may be. I hope they take you out of your own skull for a little while, which is what stories are for. I hope, at the end, you feel you've gotten your money's worth.About the Author:
Craig Wolf is a native son of Oklahoma, which may explain a few things. It’s become customary to list the odd, skilled, sundry jobs one has held while starving at one’s craft, so: Craig has been a short order cook, a utility dispatcher, an insurance underwriter, a baker, a pest control tech, a gopher for lawyers, a newspaper carrier, and a receptionist. Not in that order. His fiction has appeared in places such as Jackhammer, Deadbolt, Transversions, Raven Electrick, Flashshot and others. He currently lives in the greater Oklahoma City area with his wife, his daughter, and a whole domestic zoo. Persistent rumors about a novel abound, which Wolf will neither confirm nor deny, but insiders say it will be done, "real soon now." Watch for his face on post office walls. He suggests that a well timed Shiner Bock will usually stop his boring rants cold.
