Robert Spalding is a resident of Seattle, Washington. He has undergraduate and graduate degrees in Communication from the University of Northern Iowa and Purdue University. Robert learned to appreciate wine when he met his wife Kim; and together, they have toured and tasted their way through Alsace, Australia’s Coonawarra, Bordeaux, Burgundy, California, Oregon, the Rhone valley, Tuscany, and of course, Washington State.
Besides writing about wine touring, Robert and Kim have started their own winery, named Seia Wine Cellars, in Seattle. The winery is named after Seia, the Roman goddess of things that have been planted. They currently are hand-crafting an extremely small amount of wine and are interested in developing their mailing list.
