About the Author

Best-selling author Lynda Lee Macken grew up on haunted Staten Island where her fascination with the paranormal was fostered. Ghostly encounters in upstate New York, along with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Rutgers University, eventually led her to a career of chronicling true ghost stories. In addition to her many radio and television appearances, including "Unsolved Mysteries," Ms. Macken has consulted for A&E, PBS, the Travel Channel, "Paranormal State," "Scariest Places on Earth," "Sightings" and "Paranormal Borderline."
