The 1904 World's Fair Reconstructed is an interactive 4-hour, 4-DVD set which allows the viewer the opportunity to visit every significant exhibit of the Louisiana Purchase Exposition. Volumes 1 and 2 tour Festival Hall, the Palaces, the Pike and the Observation Wheel, while Volumes 3 and 4 tour the International and State Exhibits, the Philippine Exhibit, and the Olympics. Critically acclaimed by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, these DVDs recreate the experience of actually attending the 1904 World's Fair by walking the viewer down all of the paths of the Fair, and by touring the outside and inside of the approximately 200 major exhibits, all from a "then and now" perspective. All of the narration is from original eyewitness accounts of the Fair, and the background music is all from 1904, including original recordings by the John Philip Sousa Band, which performed daily at the Fair.
