Volume II covers the author's life and participation in: Iran - How we turned one of our best friends in the Middle East into one of our worst enemies. Vietnam (4 years) - How we won all of the battles but lost the War. Washington, DC - A bureaucracy out of control The remainder of Volume II concerns the happy years of the author's life and happenings in Florida, the sun, fun and sand capitol of the world. It started 40 years ago, just prior to the Arab Oil Crisis. As chief of Florida's Foreign Trade Office in Miami, he became involved in many exciting and interesting happenings, from lost bags in Caracas to a "near miss" from an IRA bomb in London. Also Peter organized and conducted foreign trade missions for Florida Governors Ruben Askew and Robert Graham. Later, he established his own Import/Export company and began to learn what the "real world" was all about. Probably his most touching experiences came during "Pay Back" time, involving his church, the Special Olympics, and aid to the handicapped. Finally, the author decided to "retire-retire", play a little tennis, write a couple of books and learn how to avoid mowing the lawn.
