Starley Talbott has been a freelance writer for more than 30 years. After living most of her life in Wyoming, she lived in several other states and countries, joining the Peace Corps at age 60, and serving briefly in South Africa. She moved to a ranch in southeastern Wyoming in 2006. Starley and her husband planted a vineyard, leading to her interest in writing about vineyards and wineries. Along the Grapevine Trail was her first vineyard and winery book, and Four Corners is her second vineyard and winery book. Starley also writes about local history.
