Born in Ghana, West Africa, Sarah Dadson-Alhassan currently works as social worker, and is also a rental properties owner. She was schooled primarily in Ghana where she received a college education. She has twenty years combined experience as a teacher and a social worker. Sarah taught in a grade school for five years and then in a junior high school for three years before joining her husband in the United States. She is continuing her education at Bradley University. She is a naturalized citizen of the United States. Dadson-Alhasan resides in Peoria, Illinois with her husband and children.
Her hobbies are gardening and interior decorating. She recalls that her impetus to write books is attributable to her father's uncompromising high expectation of her in her youth to excel in all areas of learning with primary emphasis on reading, writing and arithmetic. She adds that her passion to write books, stem from her desire to share her thoughts about life in general.
