About the Author:

Jay Jorgensen brings an interesting background to the topic of leadership. A two-time Division I Academic All-American Basketball Player in college, he captained his team in his senior year. Graduating with a degree in history from Fairleigh Dickinson University, he moved on to Villanova University School of Law and graduated with a juris doctorate degree. Jay also has a masters degree in military history with an emphasis on Civil War Studies from American Military University.He is a judge in New Jersey.  An award winning author, his GETTYSBURG'S BLOODY WHEATFIELD received the Bachelder-Coddington Award as the outstanding new book on Gettysburg in 2002. His book THE WHEATFIELD AT GETTYSBURG: A WALKING TOUR is a popular selection with visitors to Gettysburg. He is also the editor and co-author of TOP TEN at GETTYSBURG. In addition to his legal and literary works, Jay leads tours of American battlefields from the Revolutionary War and the Civil War.
