David LaChapelle is the hottest young photographer working today. Now, for the first time in book form, more than 160 of his best and most outrageous images are brought together. Originally trained as a fine artist, LaChapelle turned to photography as a teenager, first working professionally for Any Warhol's Interview magazine. His career has grown steadily every since, but it exploded with the development of his signature style in the early 1990s. This book features LaChapelle's most striking photographs from the incomparably wide range of his work. A lively afterword by him provides a glimpse into his unique world. Legendary Japanese graphic artist Tadanori Yokoo designed the box and the book's covers, using elements from LaChapelle's pictures, especially for this book.
