Synopsis
As Orthodox therapists who counsel individuals and families, we have observed that people today feel conflicted, concerned and confused about how to bring their children up with the morals and structure our tradition has to offer, while at the same time making accommodations to their children’s emotional needs. In this book, we seek to address the areas of the intersection between religion, values, and feelings, and share our discoveries that come from our personal and professional experience as Orthodox Jews and psychotherapists. In these chapters, we shall discuss typical relationship issues, parenting problems and personal conflicts that we have seen repeatedly in our therapy sessions and correspondence with many of our readers.

About the Author
Chaya Feuerman, LCSW and Rabbi Simcha Feuerman, LCSW maintain a private psychotherapy practice in Queens and Brooklyn, NY. This book is an outgrowth of their experience conunseling individuals, couples and families. They also co-author a weekly column in the Jewish Press on Torah and psychology. In addition, the Feuermans lecture widely on topics relating to Parenting, Jewish Family Values,and Relationships.
