Michael Hamilton self publishes these great products through MoCroi, Incorporated. Michael Hamilton grew up in Philadelphia. As a boy, his father loved to take him and his brothers and sisters on hikes through the local park, where they would often hear a solitary piper playing in the distance - the strains of a tune drifting downwind through the trees. Some of Michael's first memories are of his Scottish Grandfather who, while living with Michael's family, enjoyed telling him stories of Jack and the Beanstalk and other classic, Scottish fairy tales. He also had a Scottish neighbor who played the Great Highland Pipes and was often heard piping in the evening. Michael's childhood was filled with the haunting sounds of the pipes and stories from Scotland and Ireland. Celtic music always reminds him of these happy memories and his strong family roots. Today, Michael self publishes his sheet music and instruction books through MoCroi, Incorporated. Michael and his lovely wife, Carole, used their extensive computer background to create MoCroi Incorporated in 1998. Their goal was to provide interesting and useful tools to help others keep Celtic traditions alive for generations to come. They have been gratified by the success of this venture as you can see by the glowing testimonials [link] of their customers. Michael's instruction books contain the very information that he needed to learn to play and care for his own Celtic instruments. To his surprise, he found that so many people were also looking for this hard to find information that he soon found himself answering lots of questions over and over again - and thus the first book, the Bagpipe Maintenance book, was born. Since then, his interest and knowledge has grown to include information about the Irish Tin Whistle and Celtic Harp.
