Growing up as an American expatriate, Richard Blackstone experienced betrayal and deceit at an early age. As a result of his father’s kidnapping by his own security team, Blackstone learned to protect himself and his family at all costs. Thirty years later he is forced to put his background to the test as he transitions from an uneventful corporate assignment in Argentina to a new position heading up the Latin American operations of a powerful U.S. multinational company headquartered in La Paz, Bolivia. He quickly finds himself at the center of a massive scheme of corruption and deception involving drugs and terror networks that threaten his career and family, and requires him to make decisions that will test his principles.
