About the Author:

Richard K. Bernstein, M.D., F.A.C.E., F.A.C.N., C.W.S., FACCWS, author of the “Diabetes Solution” and “The Diabetes Diet”, IS RECOGNIZED AS ONE OF THE FOREMOST EXPERTS ON DIABETES AND ITS COMPLICATIONS. His private practice in Mamaroneck, New York, is devoted solely to diabetes and pre-diabetic conditions. He is Fellow of the American College of Nutrition, the American College of Endocrinology and the American Academy of Would Management.
He developed diabetes, in 1946. According to statistics, he should have been dead years ago. But today he is in excellent health and has outlived all but a handful of people who developed diabetes when he did.
Twenty-seven years ago, he had already suffered many of the disorders long associated with diabetes, and even his doctor, who was president of the American Diabetes Association, could do nothing to slow their advance.
Today the progression of those complications has long been stopped, and some of them have reversed. He is healthier now than he was then. How is he different from all those who have died, and all those whose bodies are disintegrating because of chronically high blood sugars? Recent research has repeatedly demonstrated what he learned serendipitously more than a quarter-century ago, that the grave long-term consequences of the nation’s third leading cause of death can be prevented and even reversed if caught in time. How? By keeping blood sugars normal around the clock.
Despite this knowledge, the procedures for attaining blood sugar normalization are only practiced at a few research centers and by a handful of enlightened physicians, and educators.
His program will attempt to present nearly everything he knows about blood sugar normalization, how it can be accomplished and maintained.

Review:

“This CD Album should be in the library of every diabetic patient, and especially physicians who treat diabetes.” --Barry Sears, Ph.D., author of The Zone
