Synopsis
Three Came Home is the story of the adventures of a Confederate soldier, Sam Atkins, coming home through a devastated South, after the surrender at Durham Station, North Carolina. In a Southern Patriot's barn, Sam meets an Alabamian, who, through a series of odd circumstances, fought with the North. While cleaning his pistol, it accidentally goes off and mortally wounds the Alabamian. Before he dies, he begs Sam to go to his home and tell his folks what happened to him.

About the Author
Edward Aronoff is the author of several Civil War books including the award winning, Betrayal at Gettysburg. He has also authored, The Pagliacci Affair, Last Chance, The Hawaiian Affair, and Harold and Joe. Dr. Aronoff was educated in New York, Iowa and Florida. He began a medical practice in the Tampa Bay area. Moving on to a literary career, he has been writing ever since.
