Gayle Shaw Cramer is a professional writer who is able to communicate with the child in each of us. Her background as an award-winning elementary teacher/principal as well as a devoted parent and grandparent has kept her constantly connected to the way children think. As an educator, she was named her community s Teacher of the Year and PTA District 17 Outstanding Educator as well as receiving the Samuel Elliot Economics Award, presented by the Cleveland Harvard School of Business for her work in economics education. Nationally, she was one of ten to receive the Principal of Leadership Award presented by the National School Safety Center and the United States Departments of Justice and Education. She was principal of a United States Department of Education Blue Ribbon School. Gayle is a graduate of Bay Village High School in Bay Village, Ohio; Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA; and the master s program at Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. She earned administrative certification from Cleveland State University. Retired from the education profession, Gayle is now a free-lance writer who has published several magazine articles as well as two books. Her latest book, The Me Too Game, is a story of discovering how as humans we are more alike than different.
