Maryhelen Snyder is a practicing psychologist and family therapist, formerly of Albuquerque, New Mexico. In Albuquerque, she also served as adjunct clinical faculty in the Psychiatry Department of the University of New Mexico. In 2004 she moved to Northern Virginia, where she continues her work as a therapist, writer, and poet. She has published several books of poetry and dozens of professional articles and book chapters.
