The setting is the beautiful Palm Beach, Florida. Life was good for Nathan Jackson who was enjoying his 21st birthday. Nathan, a college football star and heir to a multi-billion dollar fortune, receives the gift of a lifetime, a 9.2 million dollar yacht. He takes his glorious yacht applicably named, Pegasus for a short excursion to entertain a few friends and guests, but what was to be an exciting outing over the Atlantic turns to tragedy as the Pegasus goes down in flames during a mysterious storm. After surviving the treacherous seas and man-eating sharks, Nathan and nine of his fellow shipwrecked comrades become castaways on a deserted island. There the group begins to unravel the mystery surrounding the island and its ominous abandoned compound. Life gets even more interesting when they learn a doomed archeological team preceded them on the island. These ten castaways find themselves in a life and death struggle for survival against an ancient and deadly predatory creature called the, Mylus-crocodylus, that many scientists in the world thought only existed through myth.

Eric Traynard Saxon was born in Dallas, Texas, on May 22, 1970, to the proud parents of Wanda Sue Mack, and Billy Gene Saxon. In 1991, Mr. Saxon wrote a poem entitled The Right Pick, which was selected to be published in Treasured Poems of America. He is also co-author of Three Glances of A Soul, a book of poetry available through Entry Way Publishing and Digi Tall Media. The author has several poems appearing on Poetry Highway . His inspiration for writing started at an early age and is inspired by life events. He attended David W.
