I enjoyed the second edition of this book and was very happy that it is now in color. I especially liked the fact that it came with a mail in for a free starter kit, including two small molds. I like the fact that it starts off assuming you are at your first class and begins with teaching how to develop your own style of dollmaking. Highly recommended. --Tara Foye, Boca Raton, FL
I liked this book and keep it on my sculpting table. It breaks down the information and techniques section by section, leaves nothing out and takes you from the planning stages to the final touches. Great scale chart and easy-to-learn assembling. I received the starter kit and it also came with a link to a slide show where I could see larger pictures of the finished dolls. Great inspiration. Got me really excited to learn. --Margaret Freitag, Bronx, NY
Just want I needed. I am just getting started and liked that the book starts off assuming nothing. Doesn't spend page after page describing equipment, history, chemical clay analysis. It just brings you right into the project. Great marketing and photography tips too. --Bill Fulton, Orlando, Florida
