About the Author:
Born in Vienna, Austria, Christina Botto and her younger sister were raised in a very conservative environment. At age 25, Christina moved with her mother and sister to the United States. She got married and had two daughters. Her husband passed away in 1987, leaving Christina with two girls, ages one and eight, to raise on her own. Following a difficult period of adjustment, Christina became involved in church and community activities, which led to her involvement and dedication to helping parents and teenagers resolve complicated issues. She has studied teenagers for more than 14 years, observing and developing parenting strategies. She methodically refined these strategies and applied them as her younger daughter went through her teenage years. As parents of other teens became aware of Christina s tactics and learned of the success she had, they asked her to help in their struggles with many of the same issues she experienced. Her desire to help other parents challenged with similar issues she had faced inspired her to write her book, Help Me With My Teenager! Christina continues to be involved helping parents and their teens. Christina is a member of The National Writers Association and the National Parent Teacher Association and also is included in the Empire Who s Who Registry Of Executives and Professionals.
