About the Author:

Ren Knopf grew up on the Atlantic coast in Connecticut. She earned her BS Degree from Skidmore College in 1997 and a Masters Degree from Sacred Heart University in 2003. Ren has worked in the magazine industry and has written for literary journals. Presently, she teaches English and writes copy for several automotive companies. An avid mountain biker, runner and scuba diver, Ren's love of the great outdoors and her fascination with the automobile industry inspired her to create Frozen Tide, a thriller that focuses on two of Alaska s biggest killers: the quest for alternative fuel and the deadliest job of fishing for king crab.
