Combining 40 years of professional experience with his passion for mentoring young people, Bendt has established himself as an expert on advising students about career planning. Born on the Day of Infamy in Port Washington, Wisconsin, Bendt is the second oldest of seven children. He grew up in a middle class family and received his grade school and high school education in Port Washington. He earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Marquette University. Married forty-one years ago to his wife, Anne, he has four children and is currently blessed with ten grandchildren. Bendt's management experience is broad, having held marketing and sales management positions with four Fortune 500 companies participating in a variety of industries including consumer paper products, pharmaceuticals, and food products. As a member of senior management, he led and directed national sales and marketing staffs. Over the past seventeen years, Bendt has provided management consulting services.
