Linda Bizer, Ed.D., has worked with adolescents and their parents for more than ten years as a school psychologist, educator, trainer, and author. She has conducted extensive research in the areas of single parenting and discussed topics related to work and life issues, such as adolescents, testing, school performance, and college admission, on radio and television. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and her doctorate from the University of Massachusetts.
Geraldine Markel, Ph.D., has taught secondary students who have learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, and/or emotional impairments. She also served as a faculty member in special education and was Director of High School and College Services at the Reading and Learning Skills Center at the University of Michigan.
