Michelle Holland, originally from New Jersey, now lives in Chimayo, New Mexico, with husband Tom, an artist, their daughter Sylvia, two horses, two dogs, two cats, some fat koi, a few laying hens, two bunnies, a widowed lovebird, and Joseph, the peacock. She has published in many journals and anthologies, published a poetry chapbook, "Love in the Real World" (Palanquin Press, 1999), and a full collection "Event Horizon" in the award winning book of poetry THE SOUND A RAVEN MAKES (Tres Chicas Press, 2006).
