Thousands of home school students have benefited from Mr. Jeub's analysis into the development of the speaking child since Jeub's first edition. Walk through NEW and REVISED educational instruction for literary interpretation, oratory, limited preparation speaking, and debate--all covered with detail and simplicity to make speaking complete and understandable.
Teacher, coach, speaker, coordinator and parent Chris Jeub equips readers to develop successful communication skills in a surprisingly natural way.

When HSLDA started their own league in 1997, Chris jumped on board by becoming the Minnesota Speech and Debate Coordinator. While public schools financed his jumping all over the state, the home school debate league lacked the funds.
Chris left teaching to pick up an editing career where he met a number of people who encouraged him to start Training Minds Ministry, a ministry devoted to providing educational opportunities to families participating in speech and debate.
Chris left editing in 2004 to devote more time in Training Minds Ministry. His two oldest daughters have been through speech and debate and are now graduated, but his nine other children are revved up for the program. Chris coaches Peak Communicators of Colorado Springs through the competitive season.
Chris helps coach at debate camps throughout the country. He also helps coordinate tournaments, start debate clubs, and develop curricula and resources for Monument Publishing.
Being the father of such a large family, Chris (with his wife, Wendy) has spoken on the dynamics of fatherhood, parenting, and home management. The Jeubs were featured on TLC (formerly The Learning Channel) in January 2007 in a miniseries titled Kids by the Dozen. His family website has details on speaking in these broader parenting arenas.
