It also provides chronology for the line from the 1870s until the 1985 Soo line succession to the remaining property. The line hosted the colorful streamlined North Woods Hiawatha. The publication is a joint production of the Milwaukee Road Historical Association, Marathon County Historical Society and Merrill Publishing Associates. 194 b&w photos, map, timetable and bibliography.
