Dr. Mark G. Young, aka The Demotivationist, is a journalist, author, public speaker, entrepreneur, educator, leader and creative thinker. His career began in high school when he began selling belt buckles by mail order through Australia s leading CB radio magazine. After graduating high school, Young launched Australian Alternatives, an influential, newsmagazine with readers in all Australian states. After the magazine folded, he moved to Sydney where he set up The School of Journalism and the World Press Service, a news organization that provided freelance articles to publications around the world. As well as a degree in communications, Young also obtained a Doctorate of Divinity from the now-defunct Church of Gospel Ministry in Chula Vista, California. After obtaining his doctorate, Young moved to New York where he set up several businesses including Celebrity Tours, World Press and a Häagen-Dazs franchise on Manhattan s exclusive Upper East Side.
