Born in Paris and raised in the South of France, Celine Cossou-Bordes discovered cooking as a child through her mother, who inherited her talents and recipes from a long family tradition of fine cooking. When she was pregnant with twins, she found herself surrounded by nannies, babysitters, new moms, and moms-to-be who had absolutely no clue how to feed and cook for their kids and families. She wasn't sure if she could do it either, given her busy lifestyle. She wanted her kids to eat healthy, organic homemade foods; at the same time, she didn't want to slave in the kitchen after an exhausting day at work. Once she began to combine smart shortcuts with her simple European traditions, it became practical and even easy to make and enjoy gourmet meals all week long. Celine began to share her recipes and secrets with other moms who were thrilled at the prospect of eating healthy and conveniently. In 2007, she created Celine's Cuisine, a company specializing in healthy cooking education. To this day, she teaches popular private cooking classes for adults, teenagers, and children, as well as group cooking classes at various local Inland Valley/San Diego locations. Celine thrives on giving parents useful ideas and recipes for healthy, organic meals, and shares their satisfaction and passion in providing the best for their kids as well as themselves! In partnership with the Department of Education's Office of Murrieta District she volunteers teaching seasonal cooking classes and offer regular demonstrations to children, parents and teachers how to cook delicious, nutritious and easy recipes, using fresh local ingredients from local farms or local schools vegetable gardens. Celine's work also as a Wellness and Nutrition consultant with a holistic approach. Her main philosophy includes consuming a diet largely consisting of natural whole- foods, yoga, meditation, relaxation and using homemade natural beauty products.
