Harrison Irving Scott is a retired Pacific Bell Engineer. In 2002 he published: Ridge Route The Road that United California, now in its 4th printing. On May 4, 2003, Scott, a resident of Torrance, California, received the Torrance Excellence in Arts Literary award from State Assemblyman George Nakano. Scott founded the non-profit Ridge Route Preservation Organization and was featured in Preservation a publication of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
