Review:

This book was hailed by our testers as a treasure that should be added to a child's library. A book that deserves a place in a child's permanent reading collection. High praise indeed for this beautiful book that features gorgeous, richly colored illustrations and stories that expose children to timeless morals that are simple and easy to understand. Additionally this book serves up a broad cultural selection that helps give children an appreciation of the world outside their own. Parents felt that reading this book with their children opened up lines of dialogue about morality and world views. The hard cover edition with its thick glossy pages appears to be ready to stand up over time and through many readings. --The National Parenting Center's Seal of Approval for the Fall 2009 testing period

Sita Mutyala recognizes the importance of developing children s character at an early age, which prompted her to pen this book, a collection of stories based on one of South India s great philosophers and poets. Each story imparts important universal values that all parents will want their children to have. Children will enjoy the wisdom of the poems presented through simple stories and colorful illustrations. --Robert Arnett, Award winning author of Finders Keepers? and India Unveiled

Your book would certainly be a beautiful addition to our collection of resources. I can see my children falling in love with the stories. I can see myself reminding my children of a particular story from your book when he or she is faced with a similar situation. As a home school mother of 5 beautiful children, it is a priority in my life to see that my children's minds and hearts are filled with experiences that will enlighten and encourage. Not only does your book show examples of values in action, but it reminds us that people from all over the world, no matter what religion or race, have basic core values that bind us all together for a beautiful experience in this life with which we have been blessed. --Michelle Yalamanchili, B.A. Ed., M.A. Mother of 5 and home school Teacher, San Antonio, Texas
