Pat Speth began quilting in 1989 and has a special love for scrap quilts. She enjoys discovering traditional blocks and designing new ones that can be made from 5-inch squares. In 2003 Pat began a full-time quilting career and enjoys traveling and teaching workshops. Pat currently lives in Iowa, but is frequently on the road teaching nation-wide. She has a son, Ray, who is working on a Ph.D. at MIT, and a daughter, Roxie, who lives in Minneapolis, working for Pat and studying ceramics.
