After graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Theology from Florida Bible College, John Stevenson went on to receive his Masters of Divinity from Knox Theological Seminary and his Doctorate from Reformed Theological Seminary. Having worked for 29 years in the Fire-Rescue arena, John retired in January 2007 at the rank of Battalion Chief in the Broward Sheriff's Division of Fire-Rescue to focus upon his first love, that of teaching the Bible. He has taught and lectured at a number of Bible colleges and seminaries in the United States and in Eastern Europe. He currently teaches as an adjunct at the Florida Campus of Trinity International University and also serves on the pastoral staff of St Andrews Presbyterian Church in Hollywood, Florida. John met his wife, Paula, at Florida Bible College where they were both students. "Paula is the light of my life, my constant companion and beloved partner." John and Paula have a married daughter and two grandchildren.
