Bill Israel (Ph.D., University of Texas at Austin) is an assistant professor of Journalism and Political Communication and director of Graduate Communication Studies at St. Mary s University in San Antonio, Texas. He has worked as reporter, editor, or photojournalist for a number of prominent newspapers, including The New York Times, Dallas Morning News, San Francisco Chronicle and Examiner, CBS Radio and ABC-TV.
