In 2055 the United States has been cut off from the global community from the inside. Over 70% of the population has been eradicated thanks to the narcissistic ambitions of a man bent on out-designing God. Within the country's boundaries a war is being waged that will have world-wide repercussions. On his first day in charge of Delta Squad, an idealistic new Commander loses his Lieutenant to her greatest enemy, a sinister branch of the government that will go to any lengths to retrieve the classified information buried deep in her subconscious. It's up to Stone Rivers and Delta squad to save Lieutenant Jade McKay before the government that created her can destroy her and the world.

From the Author:

The original version of this book was written in 1994. I had to update the tech for a more current feel for this edition but I was fairly admittedly surprised by how well the story itself held up. I'm a little bit of a conspiracy theorist, but mostly in the sense that nothing would really shock me. I honestly would not be surprised if 90% of the stuff that goes on in Wednesday's Child, well the whole Freedom Fighter series, was really going on. I've been accused of making stories too complicated in the past, but I've found that whenever you're dealing with humans and their motivations, things just get complicated all by themselves. It's my job to try and take the reader through the twists and turns of the characters mind, motives and how it all manifests, and if I can do that while keeping you entertained or engaged with the characters, well, then I've done what I love doing. If not, I'm always open to constructive criticism.
