A tragic and honest musical, this drama is centered on the life of Father Christopher Joyce, a middle-aged pastor searching for the Divine while struggling with love in a crisis of intimacy. The story follows Christopher from his youth—purging sins in confession and vomiting his First Communion to learning about passion in a steamed-over Ford—to his adult life where he is tapped to become bishop while loving two women at the same time: the beautiful Angela and Holy Mother the Church. The lifting and magical score of master composer Eric Funk adds drama and pathos to this plays that deals with Father Christopher's dilemma, and full musical scores of each song are also included.
