This collection of three short stories centers around the strength of three women and how strangers thought to be true friends helped them. The stories take place shortly before or after the new millennium. The heroines in each story range in age from their early twenties to their early sixties. The stories in this collection are titled, “Red Hats and Satin Sandals”, “Bluebeard and the Heiress”, and “Sea Cabin Sisters.” Ms. Hunt’s books are filled with spark and excitement, with many of her stories centered around the love lives of couples, unrequited love, as well as love gone sour. The characters in her stories are tinged with vacillating elements of sadness and glory, full of confidence, yet vulnerable to the varied passions that love’s wind blows.
