Review:

Well written and a useful way to explain the importance of a 401k for employees

Byerick arndton May 19, 2014

Format: PaperbackVerified Purchase

Most education meetings are boring. Employees rarely get useful information. This is a great way to explain the power that the 401k can have on an employee's life now and in the future.

I purchased 62 copies, one for each my employees and even one for my boss.

I was looking for a way to share more information with my team about total compensation and decided to make our 401K the first topic of discussion. I stumbled upon Paychecks for Life on Amazon when searching for a book that could help me get my people excited about our 401K and what role it can play in their futures. Paychecks for Life has something in it for everyone, whether or not they currently manage their 401K or never look at it due to fear of the unknown. My boss finished reading it a few days ago and was immediately interested in his mix of funds and the fees incurred, it got him thinking. I've received nothing but positive feedback from all employees so far and have been thanked for even addressing the 401K topic with them and invoking the thought of what happens when their paycheck from the company stops. My gratitude goes out to the author. Thanks for making this book reality Charles, it is touching many lives.

Most working Americans are poor savers and do not take full advantage of their employer's retirement plan (401(k) Plan), but Charlie gives a good perspective on how to make the most of this opportunity. I would also recommend checking out the web site, [...].
