Review:

Tennis in New York will take you through the history of the sport and introduce you to the remarkable Easterners who have populated and enriched the game. Nancy McShea and Dale Caldwell have written a valentine to both tennis and New York. It's a labor of love and love. --Mary Carillo

Tennis in New York will bring you inside the game as only the city that never sleeps can. As tennis evolved from its rich amateur roots to a sleek, highly orchestrated million-dollar professional circus, New York became the frenetic dateline for much of this transition. Sit back and enjoy the show. --Neil Amdur, former Sports Editor, The New York Times

Tennis in New York is the first book to tell the history of tennis in the Tri-State area and provide for the reader interesting profiles of Eastern Hall of Fame Inductees. Many of the honorees have achieved legendary status in influencing the overall success of tennis in this country and at the U.S. National Championships and U.S. Open in the borough of Queens. --Richard Pagliaro
