Christy Strauch grew up in Mesa Arizona, where the Mexican food is to-die-for and the summer heat nearly that. When finally old enough, she traveled to Los Angeles for college to study. She just wasn’t sure what. She graduated from Occidental College in four years, despite taking classes in almost every department. In 1989, she tucked her MBA in finance and marketing from UCLA in her back pocket and went to work as a sales representative for IBM.
