The bullet slammed directly into his heart... The disgustingly dirty treasure-hunter finally reached the edge of Tombstone, arms flailing as he yelled for help. Swinging a gold locket from his grimy hands, Dutch showed approaching townsfolk the small picture inside. I gotta find this lady. Gotta find her fast. That s Miss Josephine! She owns the saloon next to The Cosmopolitan Hotel. Where d you get that, mister? Found it on a dead man, bout three days ride from here. Name on his buckle was Kincade. Josephine breathlessly approached the scruffy miner who d been shouting her name in the street. Dutch held up the locket and gasped, Ma am, he d been shot. Had this in his hand as if he was lookin at it when he died. She took the locket. Kincade dead! That s impossible! Oh, he s dead all right. He pulled the bloody medicine bag with the bullet hole from his shirt pocket. Bullet went right through this bag into his heart. Josephine took the bag, looked, staggered and fainted. Her beloved Kincade was dead! In Kincade s Death, the search for Lost Dutchman gold leads to a western adventure that will keep you reading way past your bedtime. This is the one you ve been waiting for!

A professional Old West gunfighter, Michael Chandler has performed with the Great American Wild West Show at the National Western Stock Show in Denver. On eight occasions he hired on with working wranglers to drive cattle between Wyoming and Montana. He is a member of SASS Single Action Shooters Society, and an Active member of Western Writers of America. His office and mountain home are virtual museums of western artifacts and memorabilia. Two pieces created in brass and copper by artist Craig Hess are detailed models of the stage coach and train mentioned in Kincade's Blood and Kincade's Fear. Fourteen restored covered wagons, loaded with the paraphernalia a pioneer family would have hauled west, are circled within his Colorado mountain property. Visiting the Chandlers is a step back into the time of Indians and gunfighters, gamblers and saloon girls, gold strikes and train robberies. Best of all, you might meet Michele Chandler who bears a remarkable likeness to Josephine. Michael is a former Assistant Chief of Police for the Aspen (Colorado) Police Department. He is the president of The Chandler Marketing Company and has won more than forty Silver Microphone Awards for outstanding advertising, including Best Copywriting in the United States. His marketing strategies have been featured on ABC World News Tonight. Loahna Chandler began performing at age three and for thirty years she sang, danced, and acted on the stage, radio, and TV, performing in a New York musical and traveling to the Pacific with a USO troupe during the Korean War. When her children Michael and sister Robin entered their teen years, she became a stay-at-home mom. She completed the fiction course offered by Famous Writers School, Westport, Connecticut, and began writing confession stories. Many sold to True Love, True Experience and True Story. Loahna switched from fiction to film when her husband Warren Chandler retired from being a TV weatherman. They spent 1977 and '78 with the Peace Corps in Chile producing audio-visual shows for Peace Corps recruitment and training as well as assisting other volunteers in presenting their projects to the Chileans in a more appealing manner than blackboards and flip charts. Back home they began producing travelogues called Venture Productions. Loahna was the researcher and script writer while Warren was the photographer and producer. In twenty years they traveled to 123 countries and made 60 luxury cruises promoting world-wide travel. Now in her 80's, Loahna has found her most rewarding writing experience collaborating with son Michael on the Kincade series.Review:
