The Coaches Playbook offers coaches an outline of what it means to be a coach from a variety of angles and gives coaches the tools they'll need to develop their own philosophy on coaching baseball. The book is divided into five major sections, all with their own focuses on coaching: developing yourself as a coach, developing an organizational plan, developing a plan for practices, developing game strategies and plays, and developing a team. This book can be used by beginning coaches at all levels or can be used by more advanced coaches who want to revisit their own coaching philosophies.
